1. Driver Requirements
To rent a vehicle from us, you must meet the following criteria:
Age: You must be between 21 and 75 years old.
Driving Licence: You must hold a valid driving licence for at least one year.
Identification: You must present a valid Passport or ID card and your original physical driving licence upon collection.
2. Booking & Payment
Deposit: We require a 25% advance payment of the total rental cost to confirm your booking.
Final Payment: You will pay the remaining balance upon vehicle collection, either by credit/debit card or in cash.
After-Hours Service: We apply an additional charge for vehicle collections or returns between 00:00 and 07:00.
3. Insurance Terms & Conditions (Exclusions)
We design our insurance packages to provide maximum security. However, we will void your coverage, and you will become fully liable for all damages, in the following cases:
A. Traffic Violations & Negligence:
Substance Misuse: Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other controlled substances.
Traffic Code Violations: Failing to comply with the Road Traffic Code (e.g., crossing double solid lines, illegal overtaking, or prohibited turns).
Signal Violations: Ignoring red traffic lights or 'STOP' signs.
Speeding: Exceeding official speed limits.
Illegal Parking: Causing an accident or damage by parking in an unauthorised area.
B. Vehicle Usage & Off-Roading:
Off-Road Driving: Driving on unpaved or dirt roads. We strictly forbid access to Balos Beach.
Interior Damage: Damaging the interior upholstery or equipment.
Roof Damage: Damaging the roof or convertible soft-tops.
Underbody & Components: Damaging the vehicle's underbody, wheels, tyres, or glass (crystals).
C. Accident Procedures & Reporting:
Immediate Action: In the event of an accident or damage, you must stop the vehicle immediately and contact our office at +30 6972654210.
Police Report: You must provide a police report for any insurance claim. If you don't give a report or notify us right away, we will revoke your insurance coverage.
4. Liability & Excess
Full Insurance (C.D.W.): If you follow all terms, we limit your financial responsibility to a maximum excess of €500.
Glass & Tyres Cover: You can purchase this optional extra for €6 per day to cover damage to the glass and tyres.
Violations: If you violate these terms, we will claim the full cost of all damages from you.
5. Fuel Policy
We operate a 'Same-to-Same' fuel policy:
You'll need to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as you received it.
We do not issue refunds for extra fuel in the tank.
We will apply a refuelling charge for any missing fuel upon return.
6. Locations & Special Drop-offs
Heraklion Airport: We offer this service for a fee of €70.
How to book: Set "Our Office" as your Drop-off Location and select "Drop-off at Heraklion Airport" from the Extras menu.
Note: Choosing the Heraklion Airport option automatically cancels any other drop-off location selection.
THE INSURANCE IS NOT COVERING THE FOLLOWING CASES :
1. Driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
2. Non-compliance with the road traffic code includes illegal activities such as crossing the double solid line, overtaking in prohibited areas, and turning in forbidden places.
3. Red traffic light or stop sign violation.
4. Off road or dirt road driving (BALOS BEACH IS FORBIDDEN).
5. Speeding limits exceeded.
6. Accident due to illegal parking.
7. For damages caused to the interior of the car.
8. For damages to the roof top (convertibles).
9. For damages to the underbody of the car the wheels and the crystals In case of any damage to the car or any accident the client must stop the vehicle immediately and contact our office by the phone number shown in the contract.
In case of an accident, your responsibility is limited to the amount of the excess, provided that all procedures and rental terms & conditions have been strictly followed. Otherwise, the full amount of the damages will be requested.
In the event of an Accident or damage it is mandatory to provide a police report so that the tenant can be covered by the insurance company. If the renter does not report the damage in time, it will not be covered by the insurance.
